Dream In Black and White is a fantasy meerkat roleplay site that takes place in an ice world, where meerkats are the top of the food chain, standing at up to three feet tall. "Benders" can control the ice, snow and water and resemble humans. They are at the very top of the world, and were the originators of Kingdoms and Councils. The Benders are smarter than humans, and know how to build things and are very capable of destroying areas of land to make other buildings, but they have a respect for the land and have only made ice buildings in already clear areas. Most benders are like this, although there are some "dark benders". But that's with this species. Although meerkats, more commonly known here as "Ice kats", are the most common and populate probably over 75% of the world, there are some other species. The Ice kats have no knowledge of these species, they are a type that prefer to keep to themselves. Most are vegetarians, except for the darker individuals, so it's easy to avoid others.

These species, though, have been spying on the Ice kats, who have only seen silhouettes of them, not feeling the need to attack as they had done them no wrong. Or so they thought. Two dark species have been stealing ideas, plans and ranks from them, observing and watching daily so they will know how to defeat them, it seems. One type of the silhouettes appear bird and wolf like, while the other is just... wrong to the Ice kats. They haven't gotten close enough to see anything other than the shine of blood on them. The fourth species is completely unknown, unseen. But these darker species seem to be intent on starting something, as they have begun to destroy land and build massive structures, making weapon-like things for.. who knows what. Only one Ice kat knows about this, and that's Temptation, a dark bender that has been exhiled. She's tried to warn the tribes, but none will let her close enough after she had killed many of the southern tribe.

Temptation isn't all bad, but the tribes refuse to forgive her. Temptation has been living with her mother and family, who were exhiled with her for standing up for her. Tempt wandered around alot after her exhile, and followed the bird/wolf like silhouette's, seeing the first signs of the possible upcoming war. After her failed attempt to war them, she gave up and left them to their fate, living silently like they all wanted. Most Benders believed her though, for the benders have this unbeatable urge to trust others of their blood, other benders. Silently the benders of the tribes have prepared for this war, but the Southern tribe remains completely unbelieving of it. With no benders at the head, and only an elderly council member to guide them, they are just trusting what they see. And they have seen no signs of this "war", so ignore it all.

Will this be the southern tribe's downfall? Is this rumored war true? Will these two dark species really begin to wreak havoc on the tribes and start a war? And if so, can the tribes, including the southern tribe, pull together to face them? And if not... If this world ends up ruled by these two dark species, what will happen?
