HUMANS
MAIN INFORMATION
Name: Ryo Asora
Age: 21
Gender: Male
Rank: Pokemon Trainer
Who's side is he/she on?: neutral
DIGGING DEEPER
Personality: Cool, laid back, but somewhat cold to humans and humanity in general, Ryo isn't one to be trifled with unless you really want a fight. He won't hesitate to knock some sense into you if he believes you need it. He's' more of a loaner than anything else and only talks to people when there is a full on reason. Small talk annoys him along with people who try to talk about things they know barely anything about, and he will tell you to stop talking. Despite the fact that he has somewhat of a dark nature towards other people, Ryo can be a good guy once you get to know him. He's got a very gentle personality when it comes to pokemon. However, this doesn't mean he will instantly turn his personality around to suit someone.
Ryo works his pokemon extremely hard but cares for them deeply and will often be patient with them far more so than he is with people in general. In general, Ryo is deeply in tune with pokemon even if they are not his. During pokemon battles, he will even stop the fight if he believes the other person's pokemon has had enough. If the trainer pushes the pokemon to continue the battle, more often than not, Ryo will say sorry to the pokemon in advance and then have his pokemon attack and defeat them in one hit to avoid as much pain to the pokemon as possible.
Physical Description: Overall, Ryo is not extensively muscular but he has about the physique of a soccer player. He's a little short from six feet (about 5'10), and he weighs somewhere between 135 to 150lbs. With dark green spiked hair pent up by dark goggle-like sun glasses, Ryo has sharp angular features on his somewhat pale face. His green eyes often stare from behind sun glasses or something of the like. He wears a dark green and black coat that comes up over his neck and has a hood on the back with green ears (poke the ears... do it!). On the back of his jacket is the traditional symbol for a pokeball etched out of the mass of green with white forms. The jacket drops about only a quarter of a foot from the ground, but it is cut in the back to allow for easier movement. Under his jacket, Ryo usually wears a black muscle shirt and simple easy to move in jeans. Shoes... don't seem to exist in Ryo's world unless he is hiking or something of the like, then there will usually be boots on his feet. On days that Ryo is trying to relax, he will sometimes shift into a white jacket and jeans that don't stand out so much. However, to see him in such comfortable clothes is rare. It is unknown as to whether Ryo actually wears glasses or not for he his seen with varying glasses through out the day: between sun glasses, what appear to be regular glasses, and different shades of sorts.
History:
Growing up originally in the Ore region, Ryo received his first pokemon, a Skarmory he named it Irony for the fact that he had perceived to get a different pokemon as his starter, at the age of ten in Agate Village. Because there was no traditional pokemon giving system in which the trainer receives a starter, Ryo had simply been given a Skarmory that had hatched a few weeks prior to him turning ten from the Nurse Joy in Agate Village. The Nurse Joy had explained that the Skaramory had actually been wild and had come to the pokemon center seeking refuge from Cypher and Team Snaggem who had were once again trying to get on their feet. The Skarmory, seeking comfort, simply turned in with Ryo and became a very good friend of his. They both began traveling around the Ore region by way of a sand bike that Ryo had been left with.
Due to the fact that the Ore Region lacked a pookemon league, it was not Ryo's goal to enter any league and become a pokemon master. He simply wanted to become stronger and be able to defeat any pokemon trainer he came across. Upon entering Pyrite Town, one of the most cruel centers where people often abused their pokemon and Cypher had managed to get a strong hold, Ryo became harsh to the way some treated their pokemon. He despised the way Cypher had managed to get back up after the previous Shadow Pokemon incident had occurred and wanted to be the one to knock them down again. Training every day in Duel Square, Ryo eventually managed to force a large portion of the Cypher out of Pyrite Town with the help of Dunking and a few others.
Leaving Pyrite and continuing to travel the Ore, Ryo began to grow even more confident in his training and skills. However, Ryo also began to grow a deep hate for people in general and began to see those around him as potential pokemon abusers. Because of this, he became very socially avert to most. As he continued through the Ore region, Ryo became focused mostly on steel and ground type pokemon with which to train and catch. He caught many of these types of pokemon and soon decided to leave the Ore to set out and catch more steel and ground types. His main party formed as his Skarmory (male-name: Iron) Steelix (female-name: Alloy), Aggron (female-name: Terra), Metagross (male-name: Cross), and Scizor (male-name: Slash).
At the age of twenty one, Ryo traveled to Arch Town and began traveling the region looking for steel and ground type pokemon to catch. He has been traveling ever since.
Family: All back in the Ore Region: Ryo doesn't talk about them, so they are widely unknown to most of the people of the region. He does have a younger brother named Haiiro "Grey" who is still in the Ore region training with his own pokemon.
Habits: Lecturing people after he beats them in a battle. thinking a lot for no exact reason, wandering off alone
Likes: being with pokemon, wandering to new lands, steel and ground type pokemon especially, trainers that can prove they are connected with their pokemon truly, making his own pokemon food
Dislikes: egotism, disrespect, poachers, thieves, mushroomed, frilly things in general, socks shoes in general

The air was crisp but sticky with rain that had fallen the previous night, and the sun was fighting its way over the horizon. Despite the fact that it was so early in the morning, at least one person was already up and moving around. Ryo walked through the mountains with his bag over his shoulder and a non drowsy appearance on his visage. He had been up for hours already and was making headway towards the hext town. Not far off, Irony was cruising the skies giving reports of things ahead. The steel bird pokemon swerved back and made for a circle around causing Ryo to look up. "You find something?" Ryo asked up to Irony. The steel bird gave a nod back, and Ryo copied the movement before starting to run to find what had caught such attention from the pokemon.
