It was quite a quiet day in the fields. The sun was overhead, lighting up every individual flower in it's own special way. Of course, they weren't really lighting up - It was just an illusion, one brought about by the dew of the morning. Sadly, there was only one around to enjoy the sight at the moment - A lone Kirlia. He was walking through the fields at a relatively slow pace, enjoying the sight. If only Bone was here to see this....He shook the thought out of his head. Dwelling over his lost friend would only make things worse in his mind - he wasn't even searching for him today. Today, he was taking a day off from both of his quests, even if Zephyr would scold him if he was caught. With a sigh, the Kirlia lay down in the middle of a circle of red flowers, though he wasn't paying attention to them. He was paying attention to the clouds, relaxing, and taking the day off.

The smell of fresh flowers was in the air, and even though Flare wasn't exactly the type to enjoy flowers, he couldn't help but find the scent pleasant, but maybe that was because he had full rest, and now he was ready to explore around, and maybe find a few lady friends. There was a prance in his graceful step, flickering flames licking at his hocks and arched boa, dark eyes gazing the grass for any potential company. He didn't see any, but his senses heightened when the scent of pokemon drifted upon the wind. He was instantly delighted, and with that cocky prance remaining in his step, he trotted over silently towards the source. As he approached the figure became bigger and bigger, until it looked to be a very feminine Kirlia. A growl rolled in his head, and his eyes narrowed in confidence as he instantly went into stud mode. He tossed his skull, before lightly lipping his legs to make sure they looked smooth and silky. He made slightly movement, flaring up his flames to seem more masculine, before strutting over to the damsel and purring in a seductive town,"Hey there, do you need some company miss?"

The Kirlia hadn't really noticed the approaching Ponyta, and had just closed his eyes to fall asleep when he heard the footsteps. He opened one eye and raised his left hand to block the sun, when the Ponyta spoke. Though luckily for the Ponyta, this Kirlia didn't hear him say the word 'miss'. So, he sat up and nodded. "Hmm...I suppose some company couldn't hurt. It is my day off, after all." Taking another nod, he turned his attention back twards the clouds. "Though I'm not really sure if I should be taking a day off - my quest and my search won't complete themselves, after all...." He shooks his head again and sighed "Ah, there I go again, being indecisive and rambling on. What brings you out here, good sir?"[/font]

Her voice was like a love song written just for him, and he sighed at the thought in his mind, she sure was pretty. He listened to her speak, and gave a smirk before laughing slightly, in a sultry tone,"That's alright, I like hearing you talk. What's this quest you on anyway? Do you need a trusty steed to help you along the way?" He winked, hoping she'd notice, before bringing himself around to her side, and asking in a smooth tone,"Might if I rest myself here doll?" He kept on a flirty smile, flaring up his flames in an attempt to impress her, but she seemed to focused on the clouds. He didn't have much interest in the sky and clouds, but if she liked them, he liked them. And so, he looked up into the sky, searching for something mildly interesting in the clouds before finding one that looked like a flower. He blinked, before smirking and once again trying to impress her, spoke,"Look there's one that looks like a flower."

The Kirlia blinked once at the Ponyta's laugh - At least he was friendly, which is more than Kirlia expected, to be honest. Ever since the Tangela incident, he has always ended up running into the rude pokemon....aside from Zephyr, his master. "My quest? Well, I actually have two. One my teacher Zephyr sent me on - I'm supposed to find a Dawn Stone. But my own personal search? I'm looking for a friend of mine, we got seperated five years ago, after the Tangelae Incident....I expect he thinks I'm dead." He shook his head at the Ponyta's next sentence, causing him to miss the wink. "A steed? No, I'm fine on my own." He was about to say something else, when the Ponyta called him doll. He was unsure how to take that, so he simply looked back up at the clouds in time to catch the cloud pointed out to him. "Hmm...I guess it does, doesn't it? Shame there's not one that looks like a Cubone..."[/font]

Gosh, she was playing hard to get, and Flare loved it. He flicked his ears, and mentally sighed, before shaking his skull and speaking,"Why not? I could be like your knight in shining armour. And I would save the day like a true prince could, just for you baby." If she wasn't gonna bite, he was just gonna have to be more forward. He smirked and plopped down, before taking in her sweet scent once more, before stretching and watching her with a smile,"Was your friend a Cubone. Were you two...close?" He couldn't help but suddenly feel a little jealous, another guy she was close to. It would be nice to help her find him again, but what would he get in return? A kiss on the cheek and a "Thank you sweetheart, you're my best friend." He didn't want to be friends, he wanted to be more than that and make her happy, if she just gave in and actually flirted back. But he kind of liked hard to get, and she was most definitely being more nice than all the other girls, but he certainly didn't mind a game of cat and mouse. Speaking of which, why wasn't he flirting with her now? He was wasting precious time.
"You look nice by the way sweetheart, your eyes are enticing."

The Kirlia tilted his head. Baby? He finally understood what was going on - Flare thought he was a girl. However, rather than get mad. an idea formed in his head - he would turn this into a bit of a prank. So he smiled and looked flare in the eyes before giving his response. "Knight in shining armor, hmm..? Well, I don't see any armor, but you are certainly welcome to try! But if anyone is going to save the day, for whatever reason, it shouldn't be someone by themselves. And yes, me and Bones were close - we were practically siblings...but we didn't have feeling in the way your thinking." He paused for a moment to stop himself from laughing, imagining what the look on this Ponyta's face would be when he found out his full title, and let a small bit of that laugh escape at the compliment he was just given. Ops... "Well, thank you....I never caught your name. What was it again?"[/font]

"Oh really...?" he purred with a wide smirk. So they were like siblings, that was perfect for him. He continued to stare at her, and she looked so beautiful when she talked. It was the first time he had seen her smile, and it nearly blew him away, she was so beautiful. He was about to say so, when he heard her laugh, and thank you for the compliment he gave her, then asking for his name. He scooted a little closer and spoke in a deeper tone to sound masculine,"Baby, you can call me anything you want, but my real name is Flare. And yours? No wait! Let me guess...beautiful? Divinity? Apple of My Eye?" He chuckled slightly, man he was great at flirting, he didn't understand why all the other girls were not attracted to his ways, he was a natural! It wasn't long before he looked into her eyes and stopped, studying for a long time, before speaking once more,"You know, I'm surprised you haven't been snatched up by some other pokemon. It really is surprising, I mean, I'd be crazy to pass you up."

The Kirlia couldn't help but laugh again when Flare introduced himself. He felt like he was in one of those really cheesy romance movies that some humans watch. Still, even though he hated to do it, this prank had gone on long enough. Pausing long enough for flare to get his next next sentence in, then taking a step back, he spoke. "Well Flare, it is a pleasure to meet you. Allow me to formally introduce myself." He took a rather large bow, speaking as he did so: "I am Sir Zeldukes Ge Ramtos Gault, knight in training, apprentice to Zephyr the Gallade." Not getting up from his bow, he looks up at Flare and tilts his head to the right with a smirk. "And I'm pretty sure there aren't many Pokemon brave enough to try and 'snatch up' a knight, even if he is just a knight in training."[/font]

He was in a whole new world looking at her. She was so pretty, and she bowed to introduce herself, smiling prettily, before saying,"I am Sir Zeldukes Ge Ramtos Gault, knight in training, apprentice to Zephyr the Gallade."[/b] He smiled before he heard the word "Sir". That was the moment his whole world spun around and went down into a disaster. He was flirting with a DUDE!?!?! His eyes went wide, ears flat, and in a split second he was on his hooves reeling away from the male in panic. His ears remained flat and he was in a panic before yelling,"YOU'RE A DUDE? AND YOU DIDN'T TELL ME? MAN THAT'S NOT COOL!" His mind was whirling around the words he had said before, flirting and being seductive, it made him want to barf. This guy was a jerk, and he was about to tell him so, until he thought about it more, before beginning to chuckle, a little heh, before soon going into a fit of laughter that was uncontrollable. His sides ached from his loud laughter, and before he knew it, he was rolling in the grass, almost in tears at the prank he made. He did a good job at acting, the entire time he made it seem like he was playing hard to get, and then in the end, he sent him sprawling back in disgust, and wanting to kill him. So his name was Zeldukes, well, that was part of it, but he was proud to know a man who had almost convinced him to try and become partners with a boy.

Zeldukes tilts his head to the left at Flare's yell. Taking a moment to stand up, he decided he would play dumb. After all, it had taken him a while to realize what he was doing, so in a way...what he was about to say was sort of true. "Do you mean to say that you thought I was a girl, Flare? Because it certainly sounds that way...and I'm tired of being mistaken for the opposite gender." To emphasize his point, he glared at him, but sighed and dropped the glare at the sudden onslaught of laughter. He sat down in a meditative pose, watching him for a moment. "What exactly do you find so funny, Flare?"[/font]

His breath was gone by the time he finally finished his laughter, and he looked up with teary eyes to find this Kirlia extremely upset with his laughter. He soon stopped, slowly standing up sturdily on his hooves, before flicking his ears,"You know you may be a boy but you certainly act like a girl. I was laughing because of your prank, it was a good one, don't get offended. I have respect for your intentions, it's a nice way to get revenge, but you definitely put yourself at risk." He shook himself free of grass, before looking to the sky and checking to see where the sun was at. He watched it for a moment, before looking down at the creature and giving a brief snort, accidentally shooting out some flames. They didn't go too far though, and after a moment he finally spoke once more,"Alright Sir Zeldukes, I can help you find this cubone you're looking for if you like, or the Dawn Stone you're talking about. If you want me to."

Zeldukes sighed at the Pnyta's slowness to stand back up, subconciously tapping his foot while waiting. Yes, he was a bit impatient, even if he was a Knight-in-training. So, he stopped his foot and patiently let Flare finish speaking as a quick bit of minor training before responding. "Well, it's not my fault I look and sound like this. And even if it was a good Prank...can we not refer to it as such? It's against the Knight's Code to joke around, and I just can't help myself - Zephyr would probably make me run five hundred laps right now if he caught me doing that." Shaking his head once, he followed Flare's gaze into the sky, staring at the sun while he spoke again. "Help..? Help would be much appreciated. Thank you, Flare...Even though I'm supposed to find the Dawn Stone on my own. But what Zephyr doesn't know won't hurt him, hmm?"[/font]

This pokemon sure loved to talk, and was completely serious about this Knight stuff. He also obviously had respect for this Zephyr, whoever he was. Either way, the stuff shook his head, before nodding his head happily,"Right, well I can't be out for long either, my trainer will probably call soon." He forgot that little part, Kage would most likely wake up from his nap and come looking for him, knowing it would be time to keep going. Sometimes travelling was a pain, especially with a 6'2" male riding on your back. But he wouldn't think about that now, he had other things to do,"What does this stone look like, do you know?" His cremello ear flickered, and he ignored the fly that was buzzing around his skull.

Zeldukes nods and listens to Flare quietly, but does a double take at the word "Trainer". If he had been drinking, he probably would have also done a spit take. Shaking his head twice, but then nodding for some reason, he let Flare finish before he spoke. "Hmm..? You have a Trainer? Well...I don't mean to be rude, but I don't exactly fully trust humans - I have no gurantee that he won't try to catch me. I can't exactly finish my quest if I am caught, so if you will excuse my caution, it would probably be best if I did this alone. Fare thee well!" Having purposefully avoided Flare's question about the Dawn Stone's appearance, Sir Zeldukes Ge Ramtos Gault turned around and stared at the clouds for a few more moments, and then began to walk off...provided Flare had nothing else to say.
