A half smile appeared on Ryo's face. He was exceptionally pleased that she had accepted the battle despite the fact that Irony was all but leering down at both of her pokemon. "Alright," he answered back standing up and pushing the chair inwards. "I shall use my friend here Irony, then." Irony turned his head somewhat pleased that he had been chosen to take part in the battle. Ryo had other pokemon. It was true. However, the green haired man had chosen his metallic bird on the basis that Makie had seen him already. If he were to chose Alloy or Cross, no doubt the girl would be unnerved by their sheer size.
"Alright, we will have the battle in the back area of this pokemon center after lunch is finished," Ryo finally answered back as he rose and went to get more pokeblocks. "Iron's not the only one who needs to eat, so it may take a bit longer if that is ok with you."
Placing money into the pokeblock vending machines, Ryo twisted the handle and caused large amounts of different colored blocks to fall out into his hand. Placing these in his pocket before starting to get more out of the vending machines, Ryo continued for a good ten minutes just getting blocks out of the machine.
Turning around again, Ryo reached into his other pockets. "Alright... come out everyone... lunch time," he commented throwing out several pokeballs. A Steelix, an Aggron, a Metagross, and a Scizor came forth. The Steelix all but sighede in irritation at having to bend a fraction in order to make from hitting the ceiling but was happy again to notice that it was lunch time. Taking out bowls and setting them in front of each of his pokemon, the green haired man filled each bowl to the brim with a mixture of poke-food and poke-block. Both the Aggron and the Metagross simply went to eating. The Steelix rubbed up against Ryo for a minute all but knocking him over a fraction before taking to her own food. The Scizor sighed and crossed his arms looking away as if ignoring the fact that there was food in front of him. Seeing this, Ryo let out a sigh.
"I know.. I know," he sighed a bit. "But I can't make the poke-food at the moment... this will have to do, my friend." However, despite the words, the Scizor continued to refuse to eat and instead simply turned around completely as if to ignore everything else in the cafeteria of the pokemon center. Ryo just sighed outwards again and shook his head a moment. Irony looked irritatedly at the Scizor named Slash and went up to peck him for ignoring orders. However, before the metal bird could move too far, the green haired man put his arm out stopping the bird. "It will be fine..." he sighed to Iron who simply turned his head sharply and began ignoring the Scizor.
