"GET UP GET UP!" came the excited squeal of a fifteen year-old female with stunning blue eyes. Her blonde locks whipped about as she continued to jump on her parents' bed like a small child, Gusto growling and yapping happily, tail wagging and eyes filled with glee. It wasn't long before both parents were up, a bubbly teen was at the table, and the morning was set. As soon as food was set on the table for Sabie, her eyes went bigger, and she immediately dove in without turning back. Her mother, Sheryl, looked at her with a peculiar look, before grabbing her hand tenderly like a mother should,"Woah my dear, slow down. You'll choke."
"BUT BUT!" she squeaked through a mouthful of food,"T-TODAY'S THE DAY!"
"Inside voice Sabers," came the deep baritone of Kevin, who gave her that stern look that meant he was serious. She instantly obeyed and swallowed, before looking at her mom again,"I don't have time to eat I gotta go, go, go! I'll be late if I don't hurry, we may only be a town away, but on bike that takes an houuurrrrr." She shook her dainty head, before continuing to rapidly eat. Her mother couldn't help but smile, before shaking her head and going back to making breakfast for the rest of the family. In a few minutes, she wiped her mouth clean, stood from the chair. And looked at her parents with a smile,"I guess I gotta go now." They stopped eating and looked at her, before giving her a loving smile, pride glimmering in their gazes. She knew this was the time, and with bittersweet goodbyes and hugs, along with a wet kiss from Gusto. She bid her farewell and grabbed her bike, before pedaling her way towards Tonoka City. The sun was shining down upon the fair-haired teen, and the wind blew at her face, making her smile. It was gonna be a great day, nothing could ruin it today. She continued her even pace, and before she knew it, she had reached the city she had been dreaming about arriving to for the past three years. The city looked beautiful, and the people were friendly as she passed, stray pokemon with their trainers having a good time. She couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with joy, and before she knew it, she reached her destination, the Tonoka Laboratory, where she would get her first pokemon! The possibilities of what pokemon she could have as her own seemed endless, and soon she was hopping off her bike and eagerly entering the facility. With a confidence in her step, she reached the front room and waited for someone to notice her.

Into the room walked an assistant, obiously looking a tad troubbled. He didn't notice Saber at first, nor at second. Infact, he didn't even notice her until he nearly walked into her. "Hmm...? Oh, hello there. You must be miss Yankavich, correct..? We've been expecting you, but your rather early, and Brandon has yet to show up....He's supposed to be the one helping you." The assistant sighs and scribbles a few things out on a clipboard. "Oh...never mind. I suppose I can help you, so long as we make it quick...this way, miss!" Not even waiting for Sabers, the assistant walked into a room with the sign "Incubator Room" above it, writing more scribbles on his clipboard.

"That's me!" she grinned with her thumb pressing to her chest, eyes glimmering in ecstasy. She listened to the assistant explain she was a little early, and that the man who was meant to help her is not here, and so she would have to wait. But before she could respond, the assistant had changed her mind, and explained she could do it if they made it quick. She beckoned her as she walked, and with her mouth shut, the teen moved herself gracefully across the floor a few steps behind the woman, slightly bouncy because of the excitement running through her. She slipped into the Incubator Room, keeping up with the woman who looked to have way too much on her hands. Before she knew it she found many machines, a few workers, and then in front of her, a display with 12 pokeballs perched upon small perches. Her eyes widened, filling most of the upper part of her face, and a wide grin plastered itself with super glue upon her porcelain features. She couldn't wait to find her true pokemon, the one that would stay by her side no matter what. But first, what type of pokemon would she want? Fire? Water? Normal? Or Plant? As soon as the thoughts ran through her mind, there was only one who ran a bell, Plant. That's it! She'd get a plant pokemon, but which one? Her mind went into deep though, her brow furrowed as she looked to the floor with her chin in her hand, foot tapping slowly. There were only three plant pokemon, but which one would she choose? She listed the pokemon in her mind, what they looked like, what their powers were and so on. There only seemed to be one choice though, and that was Chikorita. Her heart soared, she had finally found the right choice for her, and she knew she was going to be happy. She looked to the assistant with those bright blue eyes, and smile,"I think I know which pokemon I want."

The assistant blinked, and put his clipboard down on a table. He proceeded to walk over to another assistant and yell at him, something about polarized ions and the intelligence of a gnat. The other assistant simply nodded and got out of the room as fast as he could, before the original one returned to Sabers. "Sorry about that...Steve is relatively new here, and still making those dumb mistakes. I swear...he's going to blow that incubator up if he's not careful." He shook his head, and nodded at Saber's statement. "Well, feel free to choose, but you can only pick one, mind you! Don't you try to steal two!" The assistant then proceeded to explain which pokeball held which pokemon, how they were organised in that manner, etc. All very boring stuff too those not interested...which Sabers probably wasn't.

She listened attentively, explaining how the pokemon were organized and such, and though it was something she particularly wouldn't listen to often, she kept a calm expression and patiently awaiting for him to finish his rant. Her eyes remained wide, and once he seemed finished, she smiled and nodded,"Yes, thank you sir. I would really like Chikorita, but before I take him, is there anything I should know about him?" Her head cutely tilted and she remained focused on him, expression innocent even though that was far from what she was. She had her hands clasped behind her back, knees pressed together in a peculiar way where her legs were slightly bent, and her short skirt moved slightly from an invisible gut of wind where the source was unknown. Her golden hair rested just below her buttocks, and her height was that of a normal adult woman, not a teenage girl. In her family, most of the men were giants, and the women were about normal size, and so she was undoubtedly going to be tall. Even so, she still had a slim, curvy figure, and a gorgeous complexion.

The assistant sighs, to busy writing notes on his clipboard to notice anything other than his work. "Were you not paying attention to my speech, young lady? Though there is something a bit odd about this Chikorita...She seems to take unneeded risks all the time. If you give her the option of walking across a bridge or jumping the gap, she would ask you to step aside so she could have a running start...if she could talk. I hope that's not a problem?"

"She?" she inquired with wide eyes. They had gotten a female? There's only a 12% chance of finding a girl. At this Sabie was overjoyed, and squealed happily before clapping her hands, and nodding her head,"Yes that's fine. I'll make sure she is safe and sound! Now, is there anything else I need?" Her eyes glimmered with ecstasy once more, and she delicately clutched the pokeball tenderly, stroking it and hugging it close to her breast in happiness. Her first pokemon! How wonderful! How could life get any better? And on top of it all, she had gotten an uncommon female Chikorita, how special was that. Surely a pokemon so special would definitely need a special name, but what? Names popped into her mind, but nothing seemed to fit, but, before she knew it, she looked down upon the little ball and smiled, it was too perfect to be true. "Celie, your name is Celie," a nod confirmed this, and she kept looking with a sweet smile, before coming out of her world and blinking, and turning to the assistant,"Sorry Sir, I was just thinking of her name. Did you say something?"

The assistant nodded at the young trainer's new question, and began listing off all the possible things she would need. It was a very good and helpful list, and would have saved a lot of trouble knowing it before hand. Unfortunetly, it was cut off by Sabers' second question, which made the assistant rather mad. "Well, why do you go about asking me questions if your just going to ignore me? Frankly, it is quite rude, and I'm not sure I want to repeat what I just said to such a rude child." With that, the assistant stormed out of the room, not even bothering to give Sabers the typical trainer supplies that she should have been given. Instead, she left them on a table about five feet to Saber's left, leaving her to figure out they were hers.

Uh oh, she had made him mad. She felt bad now as he was storming out of the room and leaving her to figure it out on her own. She blinked and huffed, she should have paid attention, now look what she did, made the poor man mad. She shook her head in shame, before gazing around the room to see if she could find what she needed. She looked to her left to see a table a few feet from her, that had a belt, pokeballs, and a odd machine. She thought for a moment, before smiling and walking to snatch the things up, and putting them in the correct places. She sighed, yes she had made him upset, but this was the last thing to her mission, and it was done, so now she could go on with her adventure! One stepping stone down, a lot to go.
OOC: Done!
