Hannah sat down on a stump. Luckily, she wasn't lost this time. She'd been here before. Her Totodile marching in front of her energetically. She just recently got Blue the Totodile from the lab a few days ago.
After she had got out of the town, Hannah quickly got lost in the forest, despite it being so lively. The sun filtered down on the small clearing. The trainer quickly reached in her backpack and grabbed a small map. "Ah, lets see where we're going next..." The trainer murmured to herself.
She read over the places, one by one. It was quite as she did so. Blue was currently sitting next to her, enjoying itself just by sitting. What a weird pokemon... Hannah thought to herself, then darting her eyes back to the map.

Everything was so hard for Dimmint, first she had to deal with a stupid Vulpix, and now, she came across a stupid blue and white egg, that she has been taking care of for quite awhile, and now she had to look for food and make sure the egg is fine, hiding back in her little house, nestled happily in soft grass. Brown eyes looked around negatively, the world was always a bad place for her, and it wasn't long before she came across the scent of human, making her nose scrunch and her ears to droop.
"Guh, today is such a great day," was her sarcastic grumble, before Dimmint dove into the bushes, to avoid the younger human. She moved slowly, making sure she didn't make much noise, and took in the air to look for berries. She was very hungry, and it had been a few days before she had found anything decent, so now she was definitely trying to find something. Her paws were graceful, and there was a slight shift of the bushes from her part, and only hoped the human didn't notice. If it did, she would bolt, and make sure to grab some food and go the long way back home to not lead them to her lovely little bush.

Looking at the map, Hannah just noticed that she was tired. She didn't know that being a trainer was this hard. At least for her. First she had to run to the pokemon center with that Pichu, and had to walked back because that's where the next town would've been. The trainer quickly put the paper down, folding it and putting it back as she did so. It went back into one of the backpack's little pockets. She then did the button and stood up to leave.
A small bush moved, catching the Hannah's attention. If it wasn't making sounds because if it shifting, Hannah would've never noticed it. The trainer started to fret. What if it was dangerous? She kept thinking of the worse scenarios, what if it was a Sparrow? Or worse, a grass pokemon? It was super-effective against her Totodile, Blue. If Blue fainted, she'd be a helpless target.
She stood in the same spot, with the stump behind her. "Is anybody th-there?" Hannah stuttered. She knew she sounded weak. She took a step forwards the bush, and take her chances with the pokemon, if it even was a pokemon.

It wasn't long before a voice resounded, and the Eevee cursed under her breath, of course the human heard her, and now she had to try and run. Brown eyes narrowed, and Dimmint bolted forward, bursting through the bushes and swiftly past the seemingly-young female, tail whipping about furiously as she smelled the scent of a Totodile. Even though she had the urge to battle, she didn't take much mind to such things, and headed towards the other bushes. Of course, knowing her luck, behind said bush was a large, tree trunk, and not watching where she was going to crashed right into, causing her skull to rattle and her eyes to go into her head, before she fell to the ground with swirls in her eyes, body sprawled as she was completely dizzy. She was now defenseless against these two, and she couldn't get back to the egg no matter what she did if this meant the end of her, or even worse, being captured. Usually she didn't mind humans, sure they were sometimes too clingy and stupid, but for the most part she didn't care if they left her alone, except for people of the dark team, then she would battle till blood was shed to make them stay away from her home.

As Hannah scooted closer, she peered over the bush. Right after, her eyes caught a flash of brown before dissapearing in the undergrowth a littles aways. Some blue was staying in the bottom of her vision. The trainer glanced down to see a blue egg, spotted with white.
She picked it up, careful not to drop it. It was warm under her grasp. It looked like it was the Eevee's. It wasn't long before a loud thud caught her attention. Hannah walked towards the brown trunk, where she saw the dazed pokemon from before. She smiled. This would be a easy catch.

Slowly, but surely, she regained herself, eyes beginning to focus and body balancing, her head shaking and then her mind regaining normal altitude. Her ear flicked, and she took notice the egg was gone, and turned to see it in the trainer's hands. On instinct, her energy revived itself, and the female Eevee took charge, attacking the human with Tackle, teeth bared and ready to bite if she had to. She wasn't going down this easy, not to a puny human such as herself, and she wouldn't let her take the egg either. She didn't care if the Totodile sprung its attack, she was ready and she would fight it too, since the stupid human couldn't do it herself, and then she would be on her way with the egg, just like she wanted. This was why she hated such situations, they always ended up in a mess and with her in trouble. Why was the world out to get her? It was just ridiculous.

Hannah fell back by the force of the tackle. Maybe it wouldn't be so easy. The trainer looked around, the tackle had made her step back and lightly hit her head on a overhanging branch. She was beginning to learn that that she wasn't very lucky at all.
Lightheaded, she rubbed her head that was starting to form a headache, and started to curse under her breath. Hannah just remembered faintly that she didn't have this weight on her hands. She looked down from her now sitting-position.
Her head started to look right and left for the blue and white shell. at least she did until she heard a loud "Toto!" The trainer stared at Blue, he had the egg in both hands, holding it contently.
Hannah let out a sigh. The Totodile must've caught it when it flew into the air. She didn't want to think about what this Eevee would've done if it's egg was broken.

Being a successful attack, she felt a little better once she knocked down the human. Of course, the egg went flying, and with panic striking through her, it landed in the hands of the Totodile. A grimace crossed her face, and without another thought she bolted forward, coming towards the pokemon and skidding to a halt right in front of it, glaring with her brown gaze,"That egg belongs to me! Now give it back and I'll be on my way. I'll only attack if I have to, and I don't have to the time to do so. So hand over the egg and you and your human can continue doing whatever you were doing." Her ears flattened in distaste, and she stared at the Totodile, hoping that he would at least be somewhat nice unlike his stupid trainer. Dimmint didn't like humans that thought every pokemon was theirs and just did whatever they wanted. If this stupid one had asked nicely, maybe she would have taken her offer into consideration. Now, she just wanted to take her egg and be one her way, to find some berries and be left alone once more. She didn't really expect herself to be a very good mother towards this egg, but she would at least try to do so and make sure it had a parent around unlike her. It wasn't long before the Eevee finally calmed down a little, and with a little reluctance in her voice, she grumbled out and looked at the Totodile grouchily,"Look...can I....p-please, have my egg back so I can go?" Ugh, please was such a terrible word, especially when asking someone who was on the side of a human who was trying to catch you with said word. Her mouth felt dry and icky because of it, and she simply stared unhappily towards the blue male.

Blue's POV __________________
The Totodile held the egg tighter, hugging it to it's chest. He suddenly felt fatherly to it, but didn't even know why. Maybe because the Eevee was here. Just maybe. "But Trainer and I can take this egg off of your hands! You can then be on your merry way." Blue stated, obviously growing to be clingy of the egg. it kind of looked that way, since the Eevee clearly didn't have this egg.

"But..." she growled with a twitch of her ears, before seriously thinking about the situation. Though she felt responsible for the egg, she knew that most likely, this Totodile and his owner would do a much better job than she could ever do. At the same time, she took note of the sudden fatherliness he had towards said egg. Obviously this egg was more of his type anyway, due to the coloring and the moist state it usually was in. She didn't know what to do, her eyes staring angrily into the Totodile's orbs, finally making her decision. She stared right at that egg calmly, silently, feeling a weird tug on her heart which she wished she didn't have, before ever so slowly, beginning to walk away. Before she reached the bushes, she glanced around and spat grumpily,"You kill it I'll kill you." Then she was off into the bushes, gone for now.

The Totodile's eyes lit up at once, giving it that joyful glint. He smiled, showing big blue and white teeth. He looked down at the egg, suddenly feeling a small burden on his shoulders. He'd have to protect it with his life and be extremely careful not to drop it, "I'll never forget you!" yelled Blue, waving his hand goodbye, egg on his other hand.
The Totodile knew he would tell the pokemon of this egg of how this Eevee of how she defiantly defended this egg. It was natural pokemon behavior. Though it was probably un-natural for someone to take care of an egg that wasn't theirs, but questions still remained unanswered. Even little ones, like what the heck was that Eevee's name?
