She looks at the bright side of everything and tries to not worry or let things drag her down. Criona is kind to everyone! It is just her. She will help everyone she can with whatever they need. She also has to help every pokemon she sees that needs help. She has even been known to bring home wild pokemon so she can help nurse them back to health before letting them free again. Criona is extremely intelligent too. It seems that she remembers everything she reads or sees. She calculates almost everything before doing or saying anything and she uses her intelligence to help her when she is in sticky situations. Criona has also been told that she had a bad temper. She knows she does but she rarely ever shows it. Most of the time she is calm, collected, and peaceful, but, when you make her mad you better watch out. She can be mean and mad for days. She also has a sharp tongue at times and says things she doesn’t really mean.
Physical Description: Criona stands 5'2 tall. She looks small and easy to take on but she is actually very muscular. She spent most of her time as a child busy working out so she could take on boys, hence her muscle. She has hazel eyes that are as unique as she is. They have a brown ring around the pupil, then green, and a blue ring around the green. Her hair is a brownish honey colour that comes to her just below her shoulders. It varies from honey coloured to a darker honey colour and back to a light colour. She almost always has it up in a ponytail. If it is not in a ponytail then it is hanging down. She has a light white scar on her right arm, a wavy looking scar, that starts at her fingers and ends up at her elbow. It is a burn mark from her dad's Flareon. She also has an odd birth mark on her left calf that is in the shape of a Rapidash's head. She is fairly skinny and lanky but appearances can be deceiving. Criona also has many small scars scattered across her stomach and legs. They are faint white and hard to see but they are there.
History: Criona had an average childhood. She grew up on a farm with her mom, dad, and 2 brothers. She was the youngest of all the children. On the farm they bred Ponyta and Rapidash. Growing up around them made Criona realize how much she loves fire type pokemon and their powers. Soon she was studying as many fire type pokemon she could find around the farm, including her dad's Flareon. While studying she has ended up with scars and burns from the pokemon. The most noticeable of all her scars is from her dad’s Flareon. She tried to pour water on him to see what he would do. The Flareon burned her and from that day on she has never tried to put water on a fire pokemon. Way too risky. When she was 4 her brother, Leo, left to go become a trainer. He ended up becoming a pokemon breeder of fire pokemon, just like her mom and dad. When Criona turned 6 her other brother, Tona, left to become a trainer. He loved fire type so much he became dangerous and actually burned down the farm one day while trying out a new move with his Inernape. Because of the accident, the family had to stop breeding the pokemon until they found a new farm. Two years later they found a new farm and began to breed pokemon once more, something Criona’s parents still do and love doing to this day. Criona has spent tons of time learning about Rapidash and Ponyta and can’t wait to catch one of her own someday. When Criona turned 10, right after they bought the farm, and she decided she should begin her training as a pokemon trainer. Her goal? To become the Fire Gym Leader one day.

Heavy hooves shook the ground lightly as the Xetskeytl Royal stepped into the land. It looked average to his golden orbs but he knew the land wasn’t as pristine as it looked. The land of Coatepec was one of battles and that is what the Royal had come here to do, battle. His heavy body of charcoal shone with health as his azure swirls and stripes glistened. His tail was adorned with red macaw feathers and his face was clear, minus his white star. The breeze gently lifted his mane and he sighed as he continued to walk. The ground was dirt and dust but he knew he would be at the battle ground soon. As that thought crossed his mind he arrived and a smirk lit his maw.
Standing before Broken Ballad was a line of mountains. They seemed to stretch into the sky forever and as Ballad looked he realized that the mountains went in a neat circle. A neat tidy circle with no mountain in too far or out too far. He knew the battlegrounds lie behind the mountains so he began his long hike around. It seemed to take hours before he arrived where he needed to be. He walked through the entrance and into the grounds. The land sat mostly flat but in the middle sat a hill that stretched far and wide. The ground beneath his hooves was dried and crusty from the sun that shone directly above. There was something about this land that just didn’t seem right. Ballad couldn’t place it but he knew something was wrong. Ground crusted and cracked beneath his body as Ballad looked at the trees in the grounds. They were blackened and dead, yet somehow they looked like they were alive. Ballad kicked one and smiled as it shattered. It was then that another tree exploded into flames. Something is wrong with these lands.
With a few strides Ballad stood on top of the hill and he watched as fires in the dried grass began. As fast as fires started they stopped. Dried grass scattered everywhere, along with the trees. Another patch lit on fire and Ballad snorted as it burned for a minute and then extinguished. Unusual. He watched the ground as he walked, careful to avoid grass. He stood in the center of the hill and thought of what would happen. He would challenge Paramore to keep his land. If he lost then Paramore got Y’mora, a slave he could live without. Ballad wanted Medea and Magnus but what if they left because he wasn’t a Royal? His heart grieved while he collected himself. His eyes closed and his pulse slowed while he thought of what to say to begin the challenge. It then came to him.
He stood proud, his head high and his voice stern and powerful while he spoke. I challenge Paramore to Xetskeytl Royal position. I am the Royal and wish to keep it that way. May he come to these lands so I can claim what is mine in battle. His voice echoed within the mountains, repeating over and over. The wind made his voice disappear and all was silent. Another tree lit on fire and Ballad scoffed. Stupid fires. He looked at them and snorted his dislike before walking away from grass and trees. He didn’t want to be distracted by something as useless as that while battling a formidable foe.
